🥎🏆 CHAMPIONS! 🏆🥎

Congratulations to the Lancaster Firefighters – Local 291 on going a perfect 4-0 and taking home the championship at the First Responder Charity Softball Tournament! 🔥💪

It was a great day of friendly competition and camaraderie with our brothers and sisters from:

🚔 Lancaster Police Department (LPD)
🚒 Lancaster Fire Department (LFD)
🏍️ Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSP)
⭐ Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO)

Most importantly, it was all for a great cause and a great opportunity to come together as first responders and support.

Update | July 30, 2026 | 11:44 A.M.

9-1-1 service for landline phones has been restored. Calls to 9-1-1 are now working normally.

**********

Due to a carrier outage, the Lancaster area is currently experiencing a 9-1-1 outage affecting landline phones only.

If you need emergency services, please call 9-1-1 using a cellular device.

If you are using a landline, you can still reach the Lancaster Police Department by calling our non-emergency number at 740-687-6680.

We will provide an update when 9-1-1 service for landlines has been restored.

Tomorrow is the big day!! March Madness starts at noon, and your local Lancaster Firefighters will be at Roosters all day long. Some come on out and eat some great food, watch some good games, and hang out with some pretty awesome people. We can do this all while helping support the MDA!!
