For most children, returning to school means new teachers, new friends, and excitement about the year ahead. But for a child involved in the child welfare system, it can mean trying to learn while navigating the uncertainty of changing homes, unfamiliar faces, and difficult experiences no child should have to endure.
Your support can help ensure that more of these children have a caring, consistent adult in their corner. A trained, compassionate community member appointed by the court to advocate for a child who has experienced abuse or neglect: a CASA volunteer.
