Each year, High Foundation presents scholarships to students of High coworkers. Join us in congratulating the 2026 recipients:

Libby Elmore, daughter of Simon Elmore, Senior Technical Representative with StructureCare, who joined High in 2020. Libby, a Cocalico High School graduate, distinguished herself as a leader in and out of the classroom. She served as Vice President of Student Government and the National Honor Society, while also excelling as a member of the volleyball team, where she was named Cocalico’s Academic All-Star. Her involvement also extended to the arts, where she starred in school musicals. Her dedication to serving others is evident through her support in elementary classrooms and assistance with library children’s programs. Libby plans to study business marketing at Brigham Young University.

Zamira Morales, daughter of Gabriel Morales, production team member at High Concrete Group, who joined High in 2022. Zamira graduated from Muhlenberg High School, where she participated in track + field, the Recycling Club, the DECA Business Club, and served as a student ambassador. She demonstrated a commitment to helping others through community service and hands-on support for individuals with special needs. Her passion for service led her to shadow a speech therapist, gaining valuable insight into a profession. Much of her inspiration comes from her younger sister, who has Down Syndrome. Zamira plans to study Communication Sciences & Disorders at Penn State Harrisburg.

Ava Munro, daughter of Kristen Munro, Graphic Art Coordinator with High Company LLC, who joined High in 2018. Ava graduated from Ephrata High School, where she balanced academic excellence with extracurricular activities and service opportunities. She was involved in varsity cheerleading, the Future Healthcare Works Club, Mini-THON, and the National Honor Society. She has volunteered with ReUzeit on State and the United Way of Lancaster County. In addition to volunteering, Ava maintained a strong work ethic by taking on part-time jobs, balancing the demands of school, extracurriculars, and community involvement. Ava plans to study nursing at Loyola University of Maryland.

Grantee Spotlight: Girls on the Run Lancaster

Girls on the Run Lancaster–Lebanon inspires girls in 3rd–8th grade to be joyful, healthy, and confident through an evidence-based program that combines physical activity with life skills.​

At High Foundation, we’re proud to support their commitment to inclusion and accessibility. Last fall, one participant who uses a wheelchair nearly didn’t sign up, unsure if the program was meant for her. At the season-ending 5K, she set a goal to walk the entire course without it—and with the support of her teammates and volunteers, she walked every step, the furthest she had ever gone.​

Jenna Mitchell Beckett has spent her career helping people and the environment thrive. 🌱

A lifelong Lancastrian, Jenna followed her passion for the outdoors from childhood days spent in her grandmother’s garden to leading conservation efforts across Pennsylvania as the Pennsylvania State Director and Agriculture Program Director at the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay. Over the past decade, she has helped grow innovative programs, build partnerships, and strengthen the connection between local communities and the Chesapeake Bay watershed.

We’re thrilled to share that Diana Martin, Director of High Impact, has been named one of City & State Pennsylvania’s 40 Under 40! Diana is the driving force behind High Foundation’s work in the environment and affordable housing. As Executive Director of Partners for Environmental Stewardship and Lancaster Housing Works—two nonprofits launched by High Foundation—Diana’s leadership is making a real difference on these critical issues.

Grantee Spotlight: Step Up Suncoast

Step Up Suncoast in Sarasota, Florida, empowers families with education, support, and vital resources to help them achieve stability, long-term self-sufficiency, and contribute to their community.

Step Up Suncoast offers crucial services that guide families from crisis to stability and ultimately toward long-term self-sufficiency. Jovanna’s story illustrates this impact: after unexpectedly losing her housing, she received rent assistance to secure a new home, childcare for her son, and enrolled in English and financial education classes. Today, Jovanna is building a stronger, more independent future for her family.

High Foundation’s support is helping Step Up Suncoast establish permanent roots by purchasing the building they’ve leased for over a decade—ensuring long-term sustainability for the family resource hub so many rely on.

Grantee Spotlight: Lancaster EMS

Lancaster EMS provides lifesaving medical transport for over 275,000 Lancaster County residents.

Recently, High Foundation helped add a new ambulance to their fleet—already responding to over 100 emergency calls and helping ensure safe, reliable transport for patients and first responders alike.

“We respond to more than 30,000 9-1-1 calls annually, so our ambulances are used heavily every day. By adding this new vehicle to our fleet, we can keep more EMS personnel on the road, ensure our response times remain as fast as possible, and reduce repair costs. We are committed to providing the highest level of care for our community, and we are grateful for the High Foundation’s continued partnership in this endeavor.” — Bob May, Executive Director.
