As we celebrate 10 years of SoWe, Tenfold is honored to recognize Jim Shultz and Lori Pagan as recipients of the High Foundation’s Essence of Humanity Award.

Jim’s leadership helped shape SoWe and launch the Local Housing Investment Fund and Trust (LHIFT), leaving a lasting impact on housing and our community.

Lori, through her work with the Boys & Girls Club, has helped SoWe residents navigate resources and connect with support—leading with compassion, determination and heart.

Join Tenfold on September 15 as we honor Jim Shultz, recipient of the High Foundation’s Essence of Humanity Award, during our Annual Fundraising Banquet, Where Courage Meets Hope.

As we celebrate SoWe’s 10th anniversary, we’re also celebrating Jim’s lasting impact. During his time at LHOP, Jim helped develop SoWe and launched the Local Housing Investment Fund and Trust (LHIFT)—work that continues to shape housing opportunities in our community.

Jim’s greatest legacy, however, may be the people he has inspired along the way.

Meet Crystal: A Heart for Service

Crystal, a Tenfold volunteer and Pennsylvania state employee, has called Lancaster home for nearly 10 years. Inspired by her faith and a desire to serve others, she began volunteering at Tenfold’s Winter Shelter this past winter.

Her story is one of many that reminds us of the power of compassion, community, and simply showing up for others.

Jim Shultz is being recognized for his remarkable legacy of service, leadership, and impact on our community.
