🎓 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐜𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐤𝐞𝐲’𝐬 𝟓𝟎𝐭𝐡 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬... 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝟭𝟵𝟳𝟲

Every year, the J.P. McCaskey Alumni Association proudly celebrates the 𝟓𝟎𝐭𝐡 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬. The evening begins with a joyful gathering at J.P. McCaskey High School...an opportunity for classmates to reconnect, reminisce, and celebrate this special milestone together.

🍽️ After light meal, the graduates board the bus and head to Penn Medicine Stadium. At the stadium you will be honored at the commencement ceremony for the class of 2026. After your class is honored, we will board the bus and head back to McCaskey High School.

✨ It’s a tradition that bridges generations, honoring McCaskey’s rich history while celebrating the future of our students.

Message from McCaskey High School teacher Ben Deardorff....

Hello, this is Ben Deardorff, McCaskey National Honor Society advisor. We [McCaskey National Honor Society] are working to raise money for ALS research in honor of McCaskey Teacher Brother Albrecht and would really appreciate your support!

Brother Frank Albrecht taught generations of students at McCaskey High School. He showed students what it meant to serve others, to persevere through challenges, and to build a community rooted in compassion. Brother Frank died in 2024 due to ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease), is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that destroys nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. Right now, ALS is almost 100% fatal, there is no cure.

Now, it's our turn to honor Brother Franks legacy by coming together to fund the research that will end this disease. The McCaskey National Honor Society is joining the fight against ALS. Please donate to help Dr. Yentli Soto Albrecht, Brother Frank’s daughter, find a cure. 100% of every dollar donated will go directly to research to help find a cure. Thank you for your support!!

Inspired by "Brother" Frank Albrecht — a teacher who did 65 push-ups every morning, even after his diagnosis. He died of ALS 1 year later.

𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗦 𝗔𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗣
The McCaskey Alumni Association Invites all reunion planners to an engaging Class Agent Workshop. A class agent is anyone who helps organize class reunions and keeps classmates connected...not necessarily a class officer, but someone who enjoys bringing people together. Whether you're a veteran class agent or planning your first reunion, this workshop is designed to support and inspire you.

The event will be held on 𝗧𝘂𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟮𝟴 𝗮𝘁 𝟲 𝗣𝗠 in the Alumni Center (JPM), and admission is free. Attendees can share their experiences, learn practical tips for planning successful reunions, and enjoy dessert and coffee in a relaxed, collaborative setting. It's a great opportunity for fellowship and for strengthening the traditions that make McCaskey reunions so meaningful.
