YWCA Lancaster was honored to be chosen as one of five award recipients from Women United to advance the health and well-being of women and teen girls across Lancaster County. The $20,000 will support the Sexual Assault Prevention and Counseling Center in providing services to victim survivors and expanding prevention education efforts across the county. We’re grateful to the Women United members and the family of Kay Burky, former Chair of Women United, who generously funded all five proposals. These funds do far more than support a program -- they help restore hope, safety, and dignity to those most in need.
