On Friday evening, we had the privilege of celebrating alongside industry partners and community leaders at the Building Industry Association of Lancaster County's Parade of Homes Gala.

We were also honored to receive SIX awards in our category: Best Exterior, Best Interior Design, Best Kitchen, Best Bathroom, Best Décor, and Best in Show. While the recognition is meaningful, what makes it especially rewarding is seeing our students' hard work and craftsmanship recognized alongside industry professionals.

For students, being featured in the Parade represents months of practical learning brought to life. Through every stage of the process, students gain real-world experience that prepares them for successful careers in the skilled trades. 🪚

We're especially grateful to the industry partners and supporters who help create opportunities like these and invest in the future of our workforce.

For Sam Aguirre, learning a trade meant creating a new future.

After years of uncertainty, Sam found his way to Thaddeus Stevens College, where he balanced long workdays with evening classes to complete the Commercial Electro-Mechanical program at the College’s Workforce and Economic Development Center in partnership with SACA Pennsylvania and Tec Centro.⚡️

Today, he's an industrial electrician with a career he enjoys and the financial stability he’s worked so hard to achieve.

is committed to creating multiple training pathways to opportunity, and Sam's journey shows what's possible when determination is met with the right support.

Life rarely follows the path we expect.

After nearly two decades as a combat medic, a medical discharge forced Andrew Geiger, a 2026 Thaddeus Stevens College Residential Remodeling Technology graduate, to rethink everything he thought his future would be. What began as a desire to learn how to fix things around the house became a new purpose and career path.

At , we know opportunity and access can change lives.

His journey is a powerful reminder that purpose can be found in unexpected places, and that with the right support, a new path forward is always possible.🛠️

From the labs to the national stage, Thaddeus Stevens College continues to demonstrate the expertise that sets us apart.

This year, 18 students represented the College at the SkillsUSA National Leadership & Skills Conference, showcasing their talents alongside nation's most capable competitors.

Getting to the national stage takes months of preparation and technical expertise. While 8 students brought home a new medal, everyone showcased what makes the community so special.

We couldn't be prouder of these 18 students for stepping up to the challenge and showing what's possible when passion meets opportunity.
