Join us for Green Drinks! This month, our theme is decomposition. Like October leaves falling to the soil, what else can be returned to Earth? 🍂

We'll be joined by Lancaster Compost Co-Ops, who makes composting programs and education accessible to Lancaster City residents, and the Funeral Project, who grows awareness of natural burials and ecological stewardship of cemeteries.

All are welcome! Expect a casual gathering full of conversation, community building, and ideas for building climate resilience at the local level.

📣 Applications are open for the City of Lancaster's Youth Climate Action Fund!

The Youth Climate Action Fund (YCAF) is an exciting opportunity for young people to turn ideas into action. The City of Lancaster, PA will award grants of $1,000 - $5,000 to support youth-led projects that address local climate and sustainability challenges.

Whether your idea focuses on creating greener neighborhoods, reducing waste, educating others about climate issues, or another innovative solution, YCAF is designed to help young people make a meaningful impact in their communities.

🗓 The application deadline is October 15th.

Coming up: Our next Community Resilience Workshop, Carbon Neutrality edition 🌎

Join us on Wednesday, October 14th to help us visualize and plan for a carbon neutral Lancaster County by 2040!

🖊️ Workshops are designed to inspire creative, solution-oriented collaboration on how we build local resilience to climate change. Each session examines a different element of climate resilience to identify what progress has been made, what gets in the way, and how we can build a thriving future for all.

For carbon neutrality, that means exploring topics like transportation options, carbon sequestration, net GHG emissions, waste diversion, circular economies, and beyond.

🌲 The ultimate question is: How do we achieve clean air and a stable climate for Lancaster by 2040?

Whether you've spent your career in one of these areas, are passionate about pollution, or simply want a future with a livable climate, you are invited to be part of the conversation. 🤝

📣 CALLING ALL YOUNG CREATIVES! 📣

RegenAll’s 2026 Youth Climate Art Exhibition is a pre-event component of our 4th Annual Climate Summit and will take place this year at PCA&D - Pennsylvania College of Art & Design!

We are looking for students from around the county to express their vision of a thriving, resilient, and sustainable green future in order to promote creative and hopeful thinking for the next generation. 🌱 We hope that their work will inspire decision-makers, lawmakers, and community members to see a better future for our shared environment.

There are several ways to submit work!

🌿 Create artworks at home! Artwork can be submitted digitally OR physically to Pennsylvania College of Art & Design, 204 N Prince Street, Lancaster, PA 17603.

🌿 Physical artworks can be created in PCA&D partner workshops that are open for registration and FREE to attend!

And mark your calendars as this exhibition will be held November 8 – 15 at Pennsylvania College of Art & Design’s Welcome Center (241 N. Prince Street, Lancaster, PA ) with an opening reception on Friday, November 13, 2026 from 5 – 7:30 pm.

✨ Good climate news coming out of the Chesapeake! ✨

According to a recent article by Chesapeake Bay Journal, scientists are finding signs of improving health in our nation's largest estuary.

In 2025, Chesapeake Bay underwater grass beds expanded for the fifth consecutive year, reaching an estimated 89,385 acres — the highest level recorded since 2018. Underwater grasses provide critical habitat, feed wildlife, pump oxygen into the water, stabilize sediment, and serve as a top indicator of Bay health. 🌱

Their growth proves that progress is possible when organizations, individuals, and communities work collaboratively towards a shared vision for ecological regeneration.
