Looking for a place where your teen can make friends, build leadership skills, volunteer, and be part of something bigger? Leaders' Club may be the perfect fit!

Leaders' Club is a YMCA program for students who want to grow as leaders while making a difference in their community. Throughout the year, our Leaders have opportunities to:

❤️ Volunteer and serve our local community
💪 Build confidence and leadership skills
🤝 Make new friends and find a place to belong
🏕️ Attend leadership retreats, trips, and special events
⭐ Take on leadership roles and help shape the club
📚 Earn meaningful community service hours for school, scholarships, and college applications

Baxter Close YMCA, Tuesdays from 6:45pm-7:45pm - Parent and Leader Interest meeting is 9/1 at 6:45pm
Indian Land YMCA, Mondays from 7:00pm-8:00pm - Parent and Leader Interest meeting is 8/31 at 7pm.

💙 One lesson can change a life. Sometimes, it can save one.

Today, on World Drowning Prevention Day, we're reminded that learning
to swim is more than a milestone, it's a lifesaving skill.

During the 2025–2026 school year, the YMCA of Upper Palmetto partnered with five local school districts to provide swim instruction and water safety education to 4,593 second- and fourth-grade students across York, Lancaster and Chester counties.

But our commitment doesn't stop there. Each year, through swim lessons, swim team, preschool aquatics, camps and other aquatic programs, we impact more than 10,000 young people, helping them become stronger swimmers, safer around water and more
confident in themselves.

Together, we're building stronger swimmers, safer families and healthier communities. Because every child deserves the opportunity to learn to swim.

All YMCA of Upper Palmetto branches will be closed for the Fourth of July holiday. The Baxter Close YMCA and CSD Community YMCA WATER PARKS will be open from 10:00am-3:00pm for members only.

Members with a signed Fitness+ waiver may access our SEVEN Fitness+ locations from 4:00 am–11:00 pm, including holidays.
