National Health Center Week may be coming to an end, but the work doesn’t.

Every day, our teams are caring for patients, supporting families, meeting people out in the community and helping connect our neighbors with the care and resources they need.

That work doesn’t always happen in an exam room. Sometimes it happens at a community event, on our mobile unit, over the phone, or in a conversation with someone who just needs a little help figuring out what comes next.

This week gave us a chance to celebrate the numbers, the impact and, most importantly, the people who make it all possible.

We’re proud of what we’ve shared this week. And we’re even prouder that when National Health Center Week is over, our teams will still be here—doing the work and caring for our communities.

The week ends. The work doesn’t.

This week we had the privilege of welcoming representatives from the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) and the Pennsylvania Association of Community Health Centers (PACHC) to our Lebanon Health Center as part of National Health Center Week.

It was an opportunity to share the work happening across Union Community Care, introduce them to the incredible people who make that work possible, and highlight the impact community health centers have every day.

One of the best moments? Hearing that our Community Impact Report resonated with them and that they wanted to share it with others. It’s a meaningful reminder that the stories of our patients, our team, and our community extend far beyond our walls.

Thank you to NACHC and PACHC for taking the time to visit, learn more about our mission, and celebrate the work of community health centers across Pennsylvania and the country.

We were so glad to welcome our friends from the Maternal and Child Health Consortium to our Coatesville location! It was a wonderful opportunity to connect, share ideas, and talk about new ways we can work together to better support the children, families, and communities we serve.
