The Christmas for Kids-Southwest WI Charity Organization is a volunteer & donation-based nonprofit charity organization designed to help families going through unforeseen circumstantial financial hardship, & in need during the upcoming Christmas Season, provide a Christmas for their families. The program is open to all children from ages zero up to 18 years of age (all 18-year-olds must still be a
ttending high school or the equivalent). We ask that ONLY the families who have not applied for the Holiday Project, or any other Christmas related programs, apply. Those who have applied for the other programs, but have been denied are welcome to apply. This is to keep things fair for all those who are in need this season. We are NOT associated or affiliated with any other organizations. Our goal is to be able to help as many families as we can within the means of reason. We provide each child with 4-5 gifts to open for Christmas, a stocking with stocking stuffers/goodie bag with stocking stuffers if stocking not needed, a complete outfit (Shirt & pants), along with also providing each child with a hat & mittens/gloves. Sometimes we may be able to provide additional items if there is availability, such as socks, coats, pajamas, etc. We run on donations for all of our gifts given. Asking for specific gifts does not mean that your child will receive that item or be guaranteed that gift for your child if your application is approved. Each gift will be wrapped & labeled with your child’s name, then hand delivered to the address provided in the application or picked-up at the Lancaster Congregational Church. An adult 18 years of age or older must receive the gifts. Delivery & pick-up will be done one to two weeks before Christmas. Phone calls &/or text messages will be sent prior to the delivery to make sure an adult will be present at the time of the delivery. Please note, this is all donation & volunteer based, & those who abuse the program by selling items generously given to them through this program will be denied in future years.
