What are your plans after high school?
I am attending Clemson University to major in Construction Science.

What is your favorite Chosen Youth memory?
Winter Retreat 2025, the discussions we had in small groups and the fellowship we all shared together was just amazing.

What advice would you give to those still in youth?
Come to youth every Wednesday prepared and expecting God to move. When you come prayed up and ready to hear the word of God He can do things you never imagined would happen.

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT | ADDI CRUMP

What are your plans after high school?
After high school, I plan to continue growing my career in cosmetology while working at Salon Nine, and on day fulfill goal of becoming a salon owner. I’m passionate about helping people feel confident and beautiful on the outside, while also sharing the deeper beauty that comes from knowing Jesus. I hope to create an environment where my clients feel valued, uplifted, and reminded of their worth just as Psalm 139:14 says, that we are “fearfully and wonderfully made.”

What is your favorite Chosen Youth memory?
My favorite Chosen Youth memory is this past Winter Retreat. During that time, I experienced God in a deeper and more personal way than ever before. It also gave me the opportunity to grow closer with everyone on the trip, especially the senior class. I built friendships that I truly believe will last a lifetime. Friends who encourage me, support me, and hold me accountable. It was such a meaningful reminder of what it looks like to grow together in faith, just like Proverbs 27:17 says, “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.”

What advice would you give to those still in youth?
The advice I would give to those still in youth is to slow down and really pay attention to the season you’re in, because it won’t last forever and not everyone gets the chance to experience it. Don’t overlook it. Take your small groups seriously, use that time to ask real questions, listen, and grow in your relationship with the Lord.

For the older students, try to be intentional about the younger ones. Pray and ask God to show you who you can pour into, then make the effort to get to know them and be there for them. It doesn’t have to be anything big or perfect just being consistent and genuine can make a difference. And a lot of times, you’ll realize they impact your life just as much as you hoped to impact theirs.

I plan to work in land grading at Hoopaugh Grading Company.

What is your favorite Chosen Youth memory?
My favorite memory at Chosen Youth is 2025 Winter Retreat. I was saved here and it has been my favorite weekend overall.

What advice would you give to those still in youth?
Take any opportunity you can to lead in your community and at church. It is always great to honor the Lord in all that you do!
