An aunt said yes to 4 family members when she already had 4 of her own. Her story made us cringe. It was the kind of situation that takes your breath away — the heartbreak, the urgency, the weight of it all… and still, she said yes.

She made space where there wasn’t any. Rearranged her life. Took on the hard days, the long nights, and the unknowns — all because family mattered more than comfort.

Sometimes love looks like sacrifice. Sometimes it looks like crowded rooms, shared beds, extra groceries.

For us? It’s practical support so you don’t need to go buy underwear and clothes and a whole new wardrobe for school tomorrow. And THIS community showing up to say YOU ARE NOT ALONE. God provided ALL this so we could help you! We got you!

A mom came in today for our last set of bunk beds. She’s a retired grandmother who usually takes 1 child at a time. But this time… she said “how could I say no knowing that they were losing their home and parents and then their sister? That child would be losing everything at once“ 😢😢

Sibling groups are staying together because families are continuing to say “yes.” ❤️

We’ve watched brothers and sisters walk into foster care terrified of being separated — and now, because of amazing foster families, many of them are getting to stay together.

We currently have a waiting list for bunk beds as more families open their homes to sibling groups. A bunk bed is more than furniture for these kids. It means not losing everything at once.

If you’d like to help, please shop our Amazon wishlist. Every item helps us support families saying “yes” ❤️

DID YOU KNOW: Teen girls in foster care are more than twice as likely to become pregnant as their peers outside the system.

Teen moms in foster care are navigating adulthood, parenting, and healing—often without the support system most of us take for granted. In fact, nearly half of young women who age out of foster care will have a child by age 21.

At Foster Friends, we step in with real support—baby showers, community, and practical resources—so they don’t have to do it alone. Because every young mom deserves to feel seen, supported, and capable of building a strong future.

Help us by shopping our Amazon Wishlist or Donating today!

She thought her family was set—until she got a call about her child’s biological cousin needing a home.

She didn’t overthink it. She just said yes.

The only real problem? Figuring out sleeping space—bunk beds just became a top priority.

It’s not perfect, but it’s real. Sometimes you just make room and trust the rest will come together.

This was our last set of bunk beds and we are now in need of a new set to have on standby for the next mom who says yes. The next mama with no extra room, no big plan… just a decision to keep family together. We got you 💛
