This time last week Pack 92 came home from from an incredibly fun weekend at Camp Mack! We had some of the best weather in recent memories, the kids and parents had a blast enjoying the outdoors and making memories! Huge kudos to the parents for surviving the heat and lack of AC…. Although they had just as much fun as the kids as evidenced in the photos and additional posts to follow

The Scouts had a great night at Scout night at the Barnstormers and while their fearless Cubmaster was not in attendance Frumpy the Clown was able to fill in

Tonight we had a great evening celebrating the accomplishments of our scouts this year! We had a Lion become a Tiger, some Tigers become Wolves, a pair of Wolves become Bears, a pair of Bears become Webelos, and a pair of Webelos start the final leg of their Cub Scout career working towards their Arrow of Light! We also welcomed two new scouts who will be joining us as Lion scouts! We finished the evening with a Cake Auction where we made over $200 for the pack and the Cherry on top of that cake was being able to pie the cubmaster in the face! Here’s to a great end of the year and the beginning of a summer of fun

On Sunday the Pack took advantage of the amazing weather and went on a hike to explore nature and it’s wonders! Hope to do more exploring this summer.

On Saturday the Cub Scouts competed in the annual Pinewood Derby. For some this was their first time for others their fourth! A great time was had by all! Thank you to Smoketown Elementary for allowing us to have this event and a huge thank you to the Scouting Parents who not only set the track up in under an hour and a half… closed up shop in under an hour!!! This week the scouts learned about some cool non verbal ways people communicate, Morse code and semaphore flags! They had so much fun! Even the parents got in on the action! If you are interested in signing up your child for Cub Scouts please reach out!

One of the staples of Cub Scouting is the Pinewood Derby where our scouts learn to design and build wooden cars with the two best tools they have, their hands and their brains!
