Lancaster County First Steps Early Head Start Child Care Partnership

We partner with your family, our childcare center, and our community to provide early education, quality childcare, and resources that strengthen your family and foster development. We are a federally-funded program that serves eligible families living within Lancaster County that meet income guidelines, have a level of need, and are striving for self-sufficiency in their family unit. Our program

strives to empower families through partnership with our teachers, staff, and the community. Not only do we provide high quality childcare and comprehensive educational resources, but we also assist families in the early intervention process for children with disabilities and/or other needs. In Early Head Start, we focus on developing the whole child; we foster growth and development in all domains. Our staff works directly with you to develop and achieve both individual and family goals, locate and receive necessary resources with our partnering agencies, and gain both skills and confidence in your parenting techniques. One of our goals is to help your child become prepared to be successful in kindergarten, but our goal for you is that you become a stronger person, parent, and family unit. We are here to help you, your child, and your family be the best possible version of themselves.
