We are in the process of forming a food forest committee. The group will collectively decide many aspects of the creation, installation, and continuing maintenance of this community space. The aim is to create a diverse group that allows each portion of our community to have a voice, while also bringing to the table a variety of backgrounds, skills, interests, and strengths. This committee will likely gather once a month.

There is also a need for individuals interested in brainstorming and improving the current design. These could be people already involved with the committee, but do not have to be. That being said, it would be ideal to have a core group willing to commit to multiple charrettes/think-tank sessions throughout the process. This way, we can touch on important factors on-site and answer questions during the first meeting, without having to rehash all of that information for new members at later sessions.
