Lamar PTO The Lamar PTO is a cooperative organization of parents and teachers working together to enhance our How do we raise money for all this?

PTO has purchased many things for Lamar Schools in the last few years. We bought air conditioners for West Elementary, and Middle school. We helped resurface the playground at West and bought equipment for East Primary's playground. PTO has purchased many new books and supplies for all buildings. We help all grades K-8th including the middle school athletic teams. Quarterly we host luncheons for t

he teachers at each building to show our appreciation for their hard work. PTO also helps to host the Primetime Read-In at West, and the talent shows at East, West, and Middle Schools. Our main fundraiser is the concession stand at the fair and at the home varsity football games. We also collect BoxTops for Education.
