Our friends at Lakewood Black Caucus will host two Lakewood Community Listening Sessions this Saturday, September 20th. This multi-cultural event is an invitation to all residents of Lakewood to engage in a discussion to explore ways in which the community supports the values and needs of all who live here. Light refreshments will be served.

Shout out to all the youth players who played in the 3v3 tourney today! We had some great games. Here are the two winning teams:

And gratitude to Madison Court Community Coalition for organizing a fab block party, DJ Darius D Grind Winborn for keeping the tunes rolling and the energy up, to our refs and LOBC organizers - this was our first 3v3 tourney! And Healthy Lakewood Foundation for supporting the work. Shout out to the Madison pool concession stand for donating a bunch of waters for the tourney.
