The OCSMR HO scale members are modeling the New York & Long Branch Railroad in HO scale at our new location. They will be attempting to recreate a compressed version of the line from South Amboy to Bay Head circa 1950 - 1965 as well as the Southern Division from Red Bank to Lakehurst on a 3 deck layout. The OCSMR O gauge m

embers are modeling a freelance layout featuring several towns, bridges and a large engine service facility. They have also added an S scale American Flyer layout running around the hilltop town on the layout. Visitors are welcome on Tuesdays & Fridays 7-10:30pm. Children and teens under 18 must be accompanied by and parent or legal guardian. Full membership is $20 monthly.

Our Story

Ocean County Society of Model Railroaders A 501c3 Non-Profit Organization The OCSMR HO members are modeling the New York & Long Branch Railroad in HO scale at our new location. They will be attempting to recreate a compressed version of the line from South Amboy to Bay Head circa 1950 - 1965 as well as the Southern Division from Red Bank to Lakehurst on a 3 deck layout. The OCSMR O Gauge members are modeling a freelance layout featuring several towns, bridges and a large engine service facility.

We meet Tuesdays & Fridays from 7-10:30pm as well as occasional Saturadays. Visitors are welcome on Tuesdays & Fridays and may bring DCC trains to run but do understand that as the layouts are under construction the ability to run trains may be limited or not at all. We do encourage anyone who wishes to become a member to look at this inconvenience as an opportunity to learn about layout construction and modeling by observation or lending a hand. Children and Teens under 15 must be accompanied by and adult Full membership is $20 monthly
