Huge thank you to from for reaching out and inviting us to help with an event at the new Bexley Skate Park on the east side of Columbus, Ohio.

This was an amazing project, and we’re truly honored to have been a part of it. Thank you for trusting us and including ASW

Big thank you to old friends and legendary skaters who made this happen:

at

and Scott for helping deliver the boards

And a legend in the making .skates for doing a mini-demo

…and all of the people behind the scenes who helped build these completes and make our projects possible and for having our back

Despite a few raindrops, it looks like everyone still had an amazing time—and that’s what it’s all about.

We look forward to continuing to support this community with more skateboards in the future

We know this is a bit of a stretch—but we’re putting it out there

We’re currently looking for a donated cargo van, box truck, pickup truck, or cargo trailer to help us continue our work. 🚚

This would allow us to:

🧮 Move our fundraiser set-up to weekly events
🛹 Transport our pop-up skate park features
📦 Move donated gear across the state
👥 Potentially bring kids from underserved neighborhoods to skate events

Right now, we’re spending $200–$500 per week on rentals just to keep things moving—and it’s become one of our biggest ongoing challenges. If wants to sponsor that would be epic 🚐

If you (or a business, church, or organization you know) have a vehicle or trailer—even something older but still in working condition—we would be incredibly grateful. Each donation is tax deductible and greatly appreciated🤩

This kind of support would go a long way in helping us expand access and continue providing free skateboards, lessons, and events across Ohio and beyond.

If you have any leads or are interested in helping, please reach out directly.

Thank you so much

ASW had the incredible privilege of working with —and truly, the work they do is nothing short of amazing. We were able to provide skateboards and lessons to a group of wonderful kids, and the excitement was absolutely electric. The vibes were positive all around, and there was such a powerful sense of togetherness that we’ll be carrying with us for a long time.

A huge thank you to all of the sponsors and volunteers who made this day possible. To our amazing volunteer coaches— .b8r .jamin —you brought so much energy and heart. And thank you to .0_tattoos and for keeping everyone fueled with food and beverages, for the incredible homemade cookies. Shoutout to and for helping keep us rolling. And our 2026 sponsor for making all of this possible

We’re also endlessly grateful to all the caregivers, skaters, volunteers, and donors who continue to support what we do—this one felt especially special.

And a big thank you to Brad Thompson for the amazing balloon sculptures—you added a whole new layer of excitement and joy to the day.

What an unforgettable experience. Thank you, thank you, thank you. 💛

Advocate Skateworks is a grassroots community program based right here in Cleveland, Ohio.

We provide free skateboards, equipment, and lessons to kids in underserved communities—working with migrant agencies, public schools, families, churches, and individuals who might not otherwise have access to skateboarding.

We also partner with local organizations and municipalities to build skate programs, host pop-up skateparks, and create safe, positive spaces for kids to grow.

We are a 100% community-supported, volunteer-operated organization.

Everything we’ve done over the past three years—every board, every lesson—has been made possible by people in our community.

This year, we’re on track to donate 1,000 skateboards… but it’s not free to make that happen.

So if you believe in what we’re doing, please consider making a tax-deductible donation at advocateskateworks.org/donate or hit the link in our bio.

Thank you so much
