Meet The Trucks is back for the 20th year! Join the City and Lakewood Early Childhood PTA at Lakewood Park on Saturday, June 6 from 10 AM to 2 PM. This family-friendly event offers the opportunity to climb aboard the city's Public Works, Police, and Fire vehicles as well as those from other local organizations. Walk the path near the playground for vendor tables and other fun activities, and grab a bite from local food vendors. See you there!

Last night, the Lakewood Council of PTAs celebrated 53 student artists across the district who participated in this school year's National PTA Reflections art competion. We were so excited to hear from guest speaker Jason Vieaux, who is a classical guitarist and head of the Guitar Department at Cleveland Institute of Music (CIM) and co-chair of Guitar Department at Curtis Institute of Music (Philadelphia).

Twenty-eight submissions from Lakewood went on to compete at the state level. Three Lakewood students were awarded at the state level competition in Columbus. We are hosting our Reflections Ceremony tomorrow evening and are in need of some extra hands to help with set up.
