📢 RESCHEDULED: The Lakewood Toolbox Spring Tool Sale is now Saturday, June 27 from 9 - 11 AM at the Lakewood Toolbox.

The Lakewood Toolbox is located behind the Screw Factory building (13000 Athens Avenue), off of the corner of Athens and Halstead Avenues. The Lakewood Toolbox is a tool lending library, where members can take out tools to use on DIY home projects.

This semi-annual tool sale offers used hand, power, and lawn tools at discounted prices. All of the proceeds from the sale are used to buy new tools for Toolbox members to borrow! 🛠

On Wednesday, June 24 small business owners can join the Cleveland Minority Business Assistance Center for a morning of connection, resources, and expert guidance!

Attendees will have the opportunity to connect one-on-one with experienced business advisors and learn about MBE, WBE, EDGE, and VBE certifications, as well as lending resources and funding opportunities available to support business success.

This free event will take place from 8:30 - 10:30 AM in the Multi-Purpose Room at Lakewood Public Library, located at 15425 Detroit Avenue.

Megan brings over a decade of experience in community organizing, event management, and volunteer leadership. She has built communities from the ground up, scaled programming to reach thousands, and lead large teams of volunteers, all while managing compliance, funding and strong local partnerships. Her dedication to service has earned her Volunteer of the Year recognition with GiGi's Playhouse Cleveland, and she is passionate about empowering volunteers and creating events that bring neighborhoods together.

When she’s not coordinating events or supporting volunteers, Megan enjoys life in Brook Park with her husband and their five kids. She loves spending her free time gardening, cooking up new recipes, and getting crafty with all kinds of hands-on projects.
