Our friends at Tails from the City took on a MAJOR undertaking this past week helping out with 19 cats that needed rescued. Please take a moment to read the story and if you can please help them by donating money, supplies or by helping them find new homes for these babies!!

Early last week, we were contacted that a shelter in Ohio had over twice as many felines as they were allowed to house, and they were going to begin euthanizing immediately. We pounced at the chance to help these innocent lives, figured out how many we had room for, and on Saturday we welcomed 19 "new tails" to our shelter. Most of them are healthy and were treated with basic shelter intake medical care while a few others will need more extensive treatment. One thing that was common among all 19 - we were greeted with purrs and headbutts, and many "thank mews" as we opened each carrier. Please take a look at the photo album of our new residents! With all of the extra mouths to feed and medical care to be given, if you can afford to help us by making a monetary donation, we would truly appreciate it! If you prefer to donate some much needed supplies, check out our wish list. No amount is too small and 100% of all donations go directly to the cats. We gave these kitties a chance to live (as they came within hours of being put to sleep). Now let's give them a very Merry Catmas!!!
