🏳️‍🌈 TOMORROW: Lakewood’s First-Ever Pride Celebration! 🏳️‍🌈
Tomorrow, Saturday, June 20, Lakewood comes together to make history with the city's first-ever community-led Pride celebration. The festival transforms Downtown Lakewood and Belmar into a celebration of love and visibility. Check out the official lineup below to map out your day and ensure you don't miss a single thing:

Pride Market (11:00 AM – 3:00 PM @ The Lakewood Social House ): Independent makers host a vibrant marketplace at 369 S Teller St. Browse custom crafts, pick up festival merch, and invest directly in the local LGBTQ+ economy.

Sip & Drag Brunch (11:00 AM @ Bad Ass Coffee): Minerva, Porsha Demarco-Douglas, Tweakin666, MotherDaddy, and Zimmorah Mei welcome all-ages foodies to 7250 W Alaska Dr for an epic performance showcase. ($10 tickets).

Drag Storytime with Potted Plant (11:00 AM – 11:45 AM @ Lakewood Social House): Local drag performer Potted Plant welcomes kids, parents, and allies to 369 S Teller St for an engaging live reading session.

Puppy Pride Runway (12:00 PM – 1:00 PM @ Belmar Target Parking Lot): Proud pet owners and their dressed-up dogs will take center stage for a playful, high-energy fashion show. Come crown the neighborhood’s most stylish four-legged friends.

Love Surf Painting (2:00 PM – 4:00 PM @ 7134 W Alaska Dr): Join local artists and creative beginners for an interactive, instructor-led workshop to paint custom, Pride-themed surfboard wave art. Take home a beautiful summer keepsake! ($39–$51 per person).

Drag Bingo (2:00 PM @ The Colorado Scene): Charismatic host Minerva, alongside queens Cobra Delamor and Jenna Tavia welcome all-ages game lovers to 7180 W Alaska St for a comedic twist on the classic game. ($10 tickets).

Drag Show (5:00 PM @ Lakewood Social House): Host Minerva and Tory Demarco-Douglas, Saline Conjure, and Lulu Krystals welcome 18+ fans to 369 S Teller St for an evening of lip-syncs and dance. ($15 cover).

Gold Crown Foundation, home to All Star Park, is proud to display these refreshed banners that brighten their block at Harlan and Alameda for the many children and families visiting for youth sports. The Alameda Corridor Business Improvement District (ACBID) funded the replacement of these signs this week to ensure the site remains welcoming and beautiful. Originally installed by the ACBID in 2018, these banners continue to serve as vital wayfinding tools for visitors navigating the vibrant corridor in Lakewood.
