Game-changing professional learning and development for
educators, by educators

MindSpark is a nonprofit dedicated to evolving the craft of teaching to better engage students, and prepare them to thrive in the modern workforce and beyond. We know that amazing innovation in education is taking place in pockets across the country. As a whole, however, we believe the education system has not adapte

d to the times, and therefore cannot adequately prepare all students for what lies ahead. We provide highly-engaging professional learning and development throughout the country, in the three areas most relevant to education today: knowing your learner, instructional practices, and creative and digital experiences. Our learning experiences are developed for educators, by educators, with a focus on pedagogy as well as implementation. Programs are developed and facilitated by exceptional educators from around the country.

What happens when students tackle real-world challenges that don't have simple answers?

At the Problem-Based Learning Institute at CSU Spur, educators will explore how to design learning experiences that engage students in inquiry, collaboration, and critical thinking through an authentic challenge: water scarcity.

Participants will collaborate with fellow educators and community partners, learn PBL best practices, and leave with a classroom-ready project they can implement with students.

Best of all, it's free.

Join us at CSU Spur and discover how Problem-Based Learning helps students build the skills needed to solve the challenges of today and tomorrow.

Preparing students for future careers doesn't happen by accident. It happens through intentional systems, strong partnerships, and thoughtful planning.

The Workforce Education Accelerator brings together school and district leaders from across Colorado to strengthen career-connected learning and workforce pathways. Through a series of collaborative sessions, participants analyze student pathway data, explore workforce opportunities, and develop actionable strategies for integrating career-connected learning into school systems, budgets, and schedules.

Designed for principals, assistant principals, district leaders, and BOCES members, this experience helps leaders move from ideas to implementation.

Simplify Planning & Enrich Learning with Google AI Mode & Lens

Before this training: occasional AI use
After this training: part of daily workflow

After just one session, educators identified more meaningful opportunities to use AI to support planning and student learning.

Why? Because it’s not another tool to learn. It’s a new way to use what they already do every day.

Google Search becomes:
→ A thinking partner
→ A planning tool
→ A way to support student learning in real time

What do students need to believe a future is possible for them?

That question was at the center of Invisible Made Visible, a workforce readiness experience created by MindSpark and Jeffco CTC for 28 Jefferson County youth.

Students identified real barriers — transportation, technology, professional clothing, and career visibility — while also building resumes, practicing interviews, exploring careers with AI tools, and discovering their strengths through Gallup StrengthsFinder.

The message was clear: workforce pathways become stronger when students help shape them.

East Grand Middle School proved that meaningful change doesn’t always start with a massive overhaul.

Sometimes it starts with listening. Trying something new. Getting 1% better.

Through MindSpark’s Education Accelerator, EGMS built student-centered opportunities shaped directly by student interests and ideas, creating stronger connection, belonging, and engagement across the school community.

The result?

- 100% student participation in at least one club
- Student leaders creating a new Bio Skills elective
- New systems for feedback, mentorship, and belonging
