The LPD's monthly Coffee with a Vet takes place tomorrow, August 4 from 9 to 11 AM at Cove Community Center. This event offers conversation and support among veterans including LPD officers who themselves are vets.

All programs and activities at Cove Community Center are canceled for tomorrow, Friday, July 17th, due to hazardous air quality. This includes all trips, the Family Room, and all other scheduled activities for the day.

If you receive home-delivered meals, your meal will still be delivered as usual. Please expect your delivery between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Again, Cove Community Center is closed for all programs, trips, and the Family Room tomorrow, Friday, July 17th. Home-delivered meals will still arrive between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Please stay indoors if you can. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, such as trouble breathing, call 911 right away.

Cove Community Center will be open tomorrow, June 15 from 8 AM to 4:30 PM for a place to cool off, grab some water and snacks, and charge devices. The center is located at 12525 Lake Ave., and parking is located at the corner of Clifton Blvd. and Cove Ave. Cove is also accessible via RTA routes 55 and 78.

Cove Community Center will be hosting an expungement clinic on June 12 from 1-4 PM. The event will be run by LegalWorks, a non-profit dedicated to helping people with past non-violent convictions expunge and seal their records.

This event is open to the public (not just Lakewood residents).

Collection bins at the fire stations and Cove Community Center!

The time has come.

That's right, the Clothing Drive collection has begun! There are blue bins with yellow Clothing Drive signs at all three Fire Stations and at Cove Community Center. Just drop off your shoes and clothing (infant to adult), and our staff will pick them up.

Your donations will provide meaningful service for H2O Summer Service Campers, EXTREMELY low-cost clothes for the community, and funds to support H2O Summer Service Camp.
