The LPD's monthly Coffee with a Vet takes place Tuedsay, October 6 from 9 to 11 AM at Cove Community Center. This event offers conversation and support among veterans including LPD officers who themselves are vets.

Nutrition Supervisor, Erin Henning, demonstrates how to cook up a batch of Italian Wedding Soup at Senior Chefs, one of our monthly programs at Cove Community Center. Erin chooses recipes that include ingredients readily available at the grocery stores for which we provide transportation and includes tips for how to make batches for every size household. The tips she provides are good to know, but the sampling is our favorite part!
