‘Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house, not a creature was stirring... except Santa, who’s ready for something new this year!

After countless glasses of milk, rumor has it that Santa is craving a refreshing cup of lemonade to quench his thirst on his busy night.

This Christmas Eve, why not surprise Santa with a zesty twist? Here’s how you can make it special:

🍋 Whip Up a Festive Lemonade: Add a hint of holiday cheer with flavors like cranberry or mint to give Santa a refreshing break from the usual.

🎁 Add a Personal Touch: Write a little note to Santa, letting him know how much you appreciate his hard work and wish him well on his journey.

🎄 Spread the Holiday Spirit: Share this fun new tradition with friends and family, and invite them to join in on giving Santa a delightful surprise.

Congratulations to our Lemonade Day Lakewood entrepreneurs! 🍋

All of our participants were recognized at the City of Lakewood’s Lakewood Celebrates! The Lakewood Jaycees are so proud of each of our 10 stands for their hard work, time and dedication in operating their own lemonade stand.

Drum Roll….. 🥁

Our 2024 Entrepreneur of the Year goes to Miss Lemonade by Delilah! Delilah exceeded in all aspects of owning and operating her own business from the stand presentation, quality of lemonade, marketing and most importantly her business results! Not to mention she even had a couple of pre-orders on her custom bracelets!

Delilah shared $375 with Grandpaws Foundation and donated 3 cases of pet food! Delilah paid her investors back and opened up her very own bank account at Farmers & Merchants Bank!
She also paid a visit to our sponsor Wienerschnitzel #811 to thank them for donating supplies to all of our program entrepreneurs.

Thank you to City of Lakewood, California Government for being our 2024 Entrepreneur of the Year Award sponsor! Also thank you to Farmers & Merchants for visiting our lemonade stands and sharing financial resources to our youth.

Our 2024 Community Favorite Award goes to Riley and Leah of Lemon Lovers!

Lemon Lovers were located inside the Lakewood Center Mall on both days. Thank you to our family, friends and neighbors who came out and voted on your favorite lemonade stand! We received over 290 votes and it was a close run! Riley and Leah received the most votes at 59. Lemon Lovers donated a portion of their proceeds to St. Pancratius Catholic Church!

Our 2024 Best Stand Presentation goes to Presley from the Messi Lemonade Experience! Presley was inspired by his favorite soccer player, Lionel Messi! Presley showcased all the different jerseys Messi has worn as a professional athlete and in true theme wore a Messi jersey during Lemonade Day! A purchase of a large lemonade allowed his customers a shot at kicking their own penalty goal and securing a photo with Messi! Presley donated a portion of his money to LBCC’s Viking Vault!

All of the votes are in! 🗳️

We are so excited to announce our 2024 Best Tasting Lemonade Award goes to Aranza from Itzzy Bittzy Lemonade! Aranza was located at Palms Park on Day 1 of Lemonade Day Lakewood and Mayfair Park on Day 2. She offered a unique selection of lemonades to play off her theme of spiders! She even incorporated the health benefits of each her drinks. (Don’t worry! No spiders were used or harmed in crafting hee perfect recipes.) Aranza supported the awareness of the Lakewood Equestrian Center and gave a portion of her proceeds to them.

🎉 Huge thanks to our incredible Lakewood Community! 🎉

This weekend was an absolute blast, all because of you! We were showered with love from our amazing local officials, families, friends, neighbors, nonprofits, and everyone who showed up to support us. Whether you planned your visit or just happened to stop by, we appreciate every one of you who made it out!

A heartfelt thank you for every purchase, tip, and donation! Your generosity means the world to our entrepreneurs and their nonprofits! 💛

We encourage the Lakewood Community to come out and support our City’s youth entrepreneurs tomorrow!

Our Lemonade Day program kicked off the beginning of July with lessons on important business skills like customer service, budgeting, advertising, branding, crafting their perfect recipes and much more! Our entrepreneurs even had the opportunity to visit City Hall and receive their temporary business permit!

Consider taking the time to visit our 10 lemonade stands throughout the City and vote on your favorite stand! We want you to take part in our Community Favorite Award and judge based on the quality of taste, cleanliness, customer service and stand presentation!
