As soup season approaches, you might find yourself thinking “How has Lakewood impacted the history of local chicken noodle soup?”

Well, we have the full scoop! The Lakeside Poultry Exchange was a Hazzard family business on Winch Road that became a familiar part of Lakewood’s rural landscape during the mid-twentieth century.

The museum is seeking additional photographs, advertisements, receipts, feed bags, business records, newspaper clippings, and personal memories connected to the Lakeside Poultry Exchange and the Hazzard family.
