In fact, the U.S. Surgeon General has said that nationally, teen e-cigarette use has reached "epidemic levels." To address this alarming trend, legislators across the country are looking into updating the Clean Indoor Air Act - to add e-cigarettes as a prohibited activity in indoor public places and workplaces. From Jefferson County Public Health: On Tuesday, March 5, 2019, the Edgewater City Council voted unanimously to raise the minimum legal sale age for to***co products in Edgewater from 18 to 21.
