The Beginnings of Faith Ministries

Why “Faith Ministries?” As a rancher in northern Colorado back in 1974, Dave Duell and some other men were at a cattle sale in Denver. After dinner they went back to their hotel room to praise and worship God. A mighty rushing wind of the Holy Spirit filled the room for over an hour. Out of that wind the voice of God spoke to Dave saying, “Dave, I’m giving you a

ministry called Faith Ministries.” It was ‘Ministries’ with an ‘s’—God was emphasizing that there would be more than one. Through this and other supernatural events, Faith Ministries Fellowship began from a Bible study in Greeley, Colorado, and grew to be an international church touching over 100 nations. In June of 1992, the Holy Spirit spoke to Dave and Bonnie and told them to move to Denver and plant a church. The foundation was laid, a leadership team was assembled, and in February of 1993, Faith Ministries Church International began. The vision and mission is to build a strong home base—a place to call home—and reach the world for Jesus Christ. With the heart of a father and mother, Dave and Bonnie developed Faith Ministries International Network, a relational network for pastors and ministry leaders, now connected to 54 nations. The local church continues as Faith Ministries Denver, now pastored by Bonnie Duell and her daughter and son-in-love, Juli and Geary Perry, and a great team. FMIN continues under the leadership of Bonnie, Ed and Mona Shirley, Dan and Nancy Thompson, Geary and Juli Perry.

Geary and Juli Perry are co-pastors at Faith Ministries Denver Church in Lakewood, Colorado, the church founded by Dave and Bonnie Duell. They were married in 2006 and have 9 adult children and many grandchildren in their blended family.

Juli has been FM Denver's worship leader since 1999. Geary has been involved in youth ministry since 1980. Along with running the FMN Youth Camps, they

travel around the USA with a youth-led leadership team facilitating Traveling Youth Camp weekend events.

Geary and Juli share the good news gospel and the love of Jesus Christ. They desire to help people discover their identity in Jesus and develop their gifts and talents for Him.
