Most of us won’t be asked to run into a burning building, but we will face moments that require courage.
The courage to stay when things are hard. The courage to forgive. The courage to have an honest conversation. The courage to keep following Jesus when it would be easier not to.
This Sunday in Acts 5, we discussed that courage comes from keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus, the one who went before us and showed us what faithful obedience looks like.
“The apostles left the Sanhedrin, rejoicing because they had been counted worthy of suffering disgrace for the Name.” (Acts 5:41)
