Sometimes a closed door isn’t a sign that you missed God—it’s a sign that He’s leading you somewhere you didn’t expect.

This Sunday, we were reminded that we don’t have to know where our “yes” will lead. We just have to trust the One who is leading us.

We all have a scorecard. The things we measure ourselves by to decide whether we’re doing enough, good enough, or close enough to God. Acts 15 reminds us that we don’t earn our way into God’s love. We receive it.

Grace means the verdict is already in. Because of Jesus, we are loved, accepted, and welcomed. And when we know we belong, we’re free to stop grading ourselves and stop grading everyone else.

In Acts 13, the church of Antioch listened together, made room for the Holy Spirit, and trusted one another enough to send Paul and Barnabas where God was calling them.

Sometimes the next step starts simply by paying attention, to what God is stirring in you, what you’re gifted at, and what others see in you.

What might God be inviting you into?
