We are so excited and incredibly grateful to announce that Angels With Paws was selected as a recipient of the Dover's Chair Grant! ❤️
This grant was awarded specifically to help support the special-needs kitties we say “yes” to; cats and kittens who often require advanced diagnostics, specialty appointments, and extended medical care before they are ready for their next chapter.
Because of this generous grant, we have already been able to send Eddison to Spry Orthopedic Veterinary Specialists to have his leg evaluated.
We will also be able to pursue specialty care for several other kitties in our care:
🐾 Diana — a kitten with lower-limb paresis who will be evaluated by a neurologist.
🐾 Bambi & Flower — littermates with varying degrees of cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), who will also receive neurological evaluations.
🐾 Nigel — who will be receiving additional specialty evaluation for his eye.
Specialty veterinary care can be costly, but it can also provide answers, treatment options, and a better quality of life for cats who might otherwise be overlooked or face euthanasia.
