he first Florida location of this national chain opened in early May at Center Point at Waterside, a new restaurant/retail development just east of University Town Center. The 3,500-square-foot fast-casual restaurant specializes in healthy fare, with a large menu that includes green chile queso with chickpea chorizo, a ginger miso crunch salad, Mediterranean chicken kabobs and Peruvian braised beef bowls. Desserts like vegan chocolate pudding and gluten-free lemon olive oil cake, and a small selection of beer and wine, round out the offerings. They’re open for lunch and dinner, and most menu items are less than $20. The chain was created by Arizona-based restaurateur Sam Fox, and there are 40 other locations nationwide.

The Federal Reserve lowered its key interest rate by 0.5%—the first rate cut in four years—to respond to a softening labor market.

Mortgage rates not expected to change much after the Fed's interest rate cut today, as it was already anticipated by the market.

The Fed plans an additional 0.5% rate cut for the rest of the year, signaling confidence that the labor market isn't collapsing.

The Fed expects inflation to continue moving toward its 2% goal, which they view as balanced with their employment objectives.

The Fed reduced its key interest rate by a relatively large half percentage point. Futures markets expected a big cut amid a slowing labor market.
