17 Members of the LCPAAA came out today to support Golfing with a Cop at The Hills Country Club. Over 80 golfers participated in the event benefitting Special Olympics of Texas.

Steve Dawson updating the LCPAAA Board last night with final details for the 2026 Lakeway Police Academy. The first of 10 sessions starts on February 24th.

The 2026 Lakway Citizens Police Academy is scheduled to begin on February 24, 2026 and run through May 5, 2026. The application process opens on January 5, 2026.

The Lakeway Police Department's 2026 Citizen's Police Academy is scheduled to begin on February 24, 2026 and will be held every Tuesday evening from 6pm-9pm through May 5, 2026 at the Lakeway Police Department Training Room.
