Angel Wings of Lake Travis Our group serves the needs of our local community, making Handmade sewn goods to help Children in various situations. Let us know if we can help you.

We are a few ladies who get together every other week to donate our time and skills to sewing angel gowns, wraps, blankets, and hearts for babies who have sadly, passed away. Unfortunately, for the families who are in this tragic circumstance, oftentimes there is only a "donate" bin for clothing for their babies, and many times that article of clothing may not be the most appropriate thing for bur

ial. Some of these babies being born prematurely are so tiny the average article of clothing for a baby would simply not fit. Our dresses are fashioned from donated wedding dresses. We cut them, and create dress patterns in a wide variety of sizes to fit even the smallest baby. We appreciate every one of you who has donated your gorgeous wedding dress to this cause. If we can help ease someone's suffering in their hour of need, that's what we're here to do.

We work all year round with Foster Angels of Central Texas, helping with the Back to School drive. We can usually make around 200-250 pencil pouches a year, slotting them in between other projects. I've been busy today starting on next years pencil pouches, it's amazing how quickly we go through zips and interfacing.

Another great day at Angel Wings - we got asked for seat belt pads by Wildflower Breast Center - Austin, and our amazing volunteers said "hold our Beer" we use the ByAnnie Bosom Buddy Pattern, and they go together so nicely :)

If you or anyone you know would like one of these, please reach out, and we will make some extras. They are great for anyone with ports for cancer treatments, a pacemaker, or any other spot where you need a little padding on your seatbelt.
