REYNOSA MISSION TRIP — DAY TWO 🙌🇲🇽

What a beautiful day in Reynosa.

From early morning worship at the Blue School, to helping with English classes, to building a new addition for one of the children’s homes, Day Two was filled with reminders that this trip is about so much more than construction.

It is about being present. Loving people well. Serving with willing hearts. And allowing the love of Christ to be seen and felt in tangible ways.

We are so grateful for the servants the Lord has sent and for the precious moments He continues to create along the way.

Please keep praying for the team, the children, and the families they are serving.

REYNOSA MISSION TRIP — DAY ONE! 🙌🇲🇽

What an incredible start to this trip!

After an early morning, a long day of traveling, and crossing into Reynosa Mexico, this amazing team of more than 20 brothers and sisters in Christ didn’t waste any time. They arrived and went straight to work, already pouring into the Reynosa community and the children of Rio Bravo Ministries.

But this trip is about so much more than construction.

It is about showing up in the name of Jesus. It is about serving with open hands and willing hearts. It is about loving people well, building relationships, encouraging children and families, and trusting the Lord to use every conversation, every project, every laugh, every prayer, and every act of service for His glory.

Please pray for this incredible team over the days ahead.

Pray for the Reynosa community.
Pray for the children and families of Rio Bravo.
Pray for safety, strength, unity, and endurance.
And most of all, pray that the light of Christ would shine brightly through each person on this team and that the Lord would speak to each of them personally and intimately as they come together to serve.

Our prayer is not simply that Reynosa would be impacted by this team, but that every person on this trip would return home changed by what the Lord shows them while they are there.

Day One is underway. The team is here. The work has begun. And we cannot wait to see what the Lord does!

Built on Hope... and filled with joy!

We are continuing to thank God for the incredible night we shared at the Built on Hope Gala! Seeing our community come together to support the work of Cornerstone Restoration was a beautiful reminder of Psalm 127:1, that unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain. He is truly building something beautiful here!

What an incredible, Spirit-filled serve day on Saturday at BJ and Frank’s home! This hardworking group stepped up as the hands and feet of Jesus, tackling some technical carpentry repairs to replace rotten fascia board and trimming back branches to protect their home. Every cut, nail, and cleared branch was an offering of worship, and God truly blessed the work of our hands!
The presence of the Holy Spirit was so tangible, BJ was moved to tears by the love of the body of Christ, and she beautifully blessed us by praying us out at the end of the day. As if that wasn't enough sweetness, she absolutely spoiled our crew with delicious snacks and drinks. We walked away with full hearts, reminded of the joy of serving one another in love. To God be the glory!

PRAISE THE LORD!

What an awesome day in Dripping Springs serving Brucha!

We are so grateful for the incredible CR volunteers who showed up, worked hard, loved her well, and used the gifts the Lord has given them to share the love of Christ in such a tangible way.

This is what it’s all about — showing up for our neighbors, serving with willing hearts, and letting His love be seen through our hands and feet.

PRAISE THE LORD!

What an incredible week serving alongside Bertram Baptist Church and Volunteer Christian Builders (VCB) as we came together in Christ to help build a new community and resource center for Bertram Baptist Church.

It has been such a blessing watching the body of Christ come together, using the skills and gifts He has given us to serve others and build His Kingdom.

And yes...we’ve done a lot of building in the rain, around the rain, and in between the rain. Hahaha. But after how badly we’ve needed it, we are certainly grateful for that problem!

BTW, it isnt finished yet, keep an eye out on our schedule for other upcoming opportunities to get involved with this massive, and amazing build!

PRAISE THE LORD!!

Ms. Kim and her family can once again safely enter and exit their home!

What a beautiful picture of what happens when the body of Christ shows up with willing hearts and open hands. A HUGE thank you to every incredible volunteer who came alongside Ms. Kim and her family, worked hard, loved them well, and shared the love of Christ through their service.

And a very special thank you to Stewart & Co. Construction for serving alongside us and so generously sharing the skills and God-given talents the Lord has placed in their hands to bless a neighbor in need.

We are so grateful for every person the Lord brought together to make this possible.

Christ is the true Restorer, and all the glory belongs to Him!
