Lakeville Arts Council The LAC mission is to encourage and support the arts and culture as a vital part of our community.

The annual Lakeville Arts & Music Festival is sponsored by the Lakeville Arts Council (LAC), an agency of the Massachusetts Cultural Council (MCC), which is made up of municipally appointed volunteers. The Council accomplishes this through various programs throughout the year, to include the annual Lakeville Arts & Music Festival. The funds raised during the Festival each year are used to achieve

this mission of cultural support within our community. Some of our past contributions have been to build the new stage (“Center Stage”) located in front of the library, to repaint and install a hanging system inside the old Town Hall/House, send high school students to a performance of the Boston Symphony, provide the goods needed to exhibit annual summer workshops inside the library’s Great Ponds Gallery and more. Going forward, these funds will also provide music for our upcoming FREE concerts we plan to have each summer on “Center Stage”. Supporting the Lakeville Arts & Music Festival is an investment in Lakeville’s cultural future.
