Lake Marion Association Lake Marion covers 560 acres in Lakeville, MN, just south of Minneapolis. The Association has 125 me We also sponsor an annual picnic each August.

The Lake Marion Association's slogan is "Dedicated to the Betterment of Life on Lake Marion". The Association is an active promoter of parkland development around the lake and is particularly interested in seeing the successful completion of the Lake's trail system, which would include a pedestrian bridge near the fishing pier. Ongoing efforts of the Association include annual treatment of the pon

ds that drain into the Lake, adoption of the boat launch and trail that runs along the west side of the Lake, installation of park benches along the trail, stocking of "doggie scooper bags" in stations constructed for trail users and their dogs, and programs that promote safety and improving the water quality of the Lake. We hold a boat parade on the Fourth of July. The association has about 115 members, mostly lakeshore owners. The more members we have,the more effective we will be.
