We create social change to end interpersonal, relationship violence by challenging attitudes and beliefs about power, control, and gender norms and by advocating for victims and survivors. We envision a world in which everyone can be themselves, have healthy relationships, and live free of interpersonal, relationship violence. Our strategies to achieve this are to:
• Engage youth and adults in learning about attitudes and beliefs about gender norms; how the exercise of power and control influences relational choices; and how unhealthy relationship choices contribute to interpersonal, relationship violence.
• Challenge widely accepted but damaging gender norms and societal role expectations within organizations & our communities.
• Coordinate responses to address immediate and long lasting effects of interpersonal, relationship violence.

Have you seen THE CRASH on Netflix?

With more than 65 million views, it's one of the year's most-watched documentaries - and it's sparking important questions about young relationships.

As part of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Project SAGE and Interval House invite you to join us for a virtual online conversation inspired by the film.

We'll explore the complexities of young relationships and the behaviors we see in the documentary. What's typical? What's troubling? Where do you think the line is between normal relationship challenges and warning signs of something more serious?

This isn't a lecture. It's an opportunity to share perspectives, ask questions, and hear what others think.

Tuesday, October 27 - 6PM.
Virtual/Online
Register Interval House CT. Link in Bio.

We won't have time to watch the film so please watch prior.

A little purple, a lot of heart. 💜

On Purple Thursday, we're reminded purple is more than a color. It reflects the work we care deeply about every day - supporting survivors, educating young people, and helping build safer communities.

We're your neighbors, your community partners, and people you can turn to.

Last night, 68 people came together in remembrance, hope and community.

We poured red sand, walked together by candlelight, and gathered at Project SAGE to honor the 23 lives lost to domestic violence in Connecticut-people ranging in age from just 1 month to 83 years.

Each name was a reminder of why we gather, why we speak up, and why our work towards change matters.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, stood together, and helped make the evening so meaningful.

Remembrance brings us together. Hope moves us forward.💜

There is strength in being supported. And there is hope in knowing a community cares.

On October 8th, we come together to remember those lives who have been lost to domestic violence, honor survivors, and stand with those who still may be living with abuse.

Rememberence is at the heart of our Community Vigil. We will pause to recognize the lives lost and the people, families and communities forever affected by domestic violence.

And we will also hold hope - hope that comes from showing up for one another, creating greater understanding, and working together toward change.

Join us. On October 8, we show up.
