Lakeview Booster Club This page represents the Lakeview Booster Club ~ a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting our Lakeview School's extracurricular activities & clubs

The Lakeview Booster Club helps to provide funding for the general operating budgets of many Lakeview teams and clubs. We raise funds throughout the year with the support of parents and friends of the Lakeview School District. Over the last four years the Lakeview Booster Club has contributed approximately $100,000 to the Lakeview School District Fund 299 which supports our youth and their activities. Additionally, the Club has given thousands of dollars to special projects through grant requests. Past projects include associated costs or equipment for: Drama, Equestrian Team, Band, LHS Student Council, Football, Wrestling, Track, Softball, 6th Grade Field Trip, FFA, Weight Room, Jr High Club Basketball, Elementary Basketball League, Wrestling, Ski Team and help with a new sound system & scoreboard for Honker Court! We invite everyone who is interested in supporting activities for our youth to become a member.

Honker Girls First, Boys Second At Run 4 Bert (Full results for Lakeview runners)

HENLEY – The Lakeview cross country team had a good showing as the girls claimed the team title while the boys grabbed second in the team scores at the Run 4 Bert on Wednesday, Oct. 15 in Henley.

The Honker girls ended the competition five points better than host Henley with Lakeview scoring 34 points. Mazama placed third in the team scoring.

Lakeview was led by senior Emma Halbleib’s second place crossing the line. Halbleib ran a season best time of 20 minutes, 50 seconds. Sophomore Addalee Tague also ran her best time of the year, finishing fifth with a time of 22:18.0. Junior Adisynn Harland and sophomore Lily Halbleib also grabbed top 10 individual finishes.

The Lakeview boys grabbed second in the team scores, just behind Henley. While the host team put up 22 points, the Honker boys ended the race with 33 points.

The Honker boys finished the day with four runners in the top 10, led by senior Ben Springer in second place with his season best time of 17:55.0. Fellow senior Matthew Patla’s 19:33.0 placed him fourth in the individual standings. Junior John Brown placed eighth followed by sophomore Jacob Godeaux in ninth.

Honkers, Huskies And Hilanders Run Oxford Classic (Full results for Lakeview, Sherman, Burns)

BEND – The cross-country teams of Lakeview, Sherman and Burns joined with others in Drake Park in Bend for the Oxford Classic on Saturday, Oct. 3.

The Honkers of Lakeview were the lone team of the three to pick up a team score, finishing fifth versus the much larger schools present. Lakeview was led by senior Emma Halblieb and her 17th place showing with a time of 21 minutes, 26.3 seconds.

The top finish for Burns went to junior Hadley Gunderson in 30th. Sherman’s T’Sharra Lanthorn crossed the finish in 34th for the Huskies.

For the boys, Burns picked up a top 10 team finish with their total of 243 points good enough for ninth. Lakeview was just outside the top 10 in 12th.

Burns/Crane senior Thaddius Downs led the Hilanders as is 17:35.4 finish qualified for 13th in the individual standings. Lakeview senior Ben Springer proved to be the top spot for the Honkers in 32nd.
