LHS STUDENTS SHOWCASE SENIOR PROJECTS AT SOROPTIMIST

Under the outstanding direction of educator, Lisa Shullanberger, who has successfully created and developed this amazing senior project requirement. The project is in its second year of existence as part of the curriculum in the Personal Finance class at LHS. Lisa spoke of her passion and love of Lake County coupled with of connection, local relationships and strong belief in strengthening community. Born and raised in Lake County and teaching in Lake County School District for 27 years she continues to positively impact and make a difference in the lives of Lake County youth as was evident in the outstanding student presentations of their senior projects all showcasing their way of giving back to the community in which they were raised. This program was a great reminder of the outstanding youth raised and educated in our community. These four seniors will go on to do amazing things in this world! Best of luck from the Lakeview Soroptimists.

The Live Your Dream: Education & Training Awards for Women, established in 1972 by Soroptimist International of the Americas, assists women who provide the primary source of financial support for their families. The award gives them the resources they need to improve their education, skills and employment prospects. Soroptimist International of Lakeview presented their 2025-26 award to Maudie Jean Vore.
