9.4 Million acres dedicated to farming operations in Michigan producing over 300 agricultural commodities. Most operations utilize tractors. So bring your antique tractors – any condition – to the Lakeview Memorial Day & Tractor Show event as we remember and honor the individuals of the US Armed Forces who have passed before us with a tractor parade and show hosted by VFW Lakeview #3701 https://www.vfw3701.org/memorialday

Special acknowledgement of tractors entered in memory of a veteran. Door prizes and plaques will be awarded and swag bags to the first 50 entries. Use the QR code to enter your tractor or register at the Lakeview Middle School parking lot on Memorial Day 8:30 – 10:30 am.

Show us your tractors! Mint condition or fresh out of the field – we want to see them all! Dust off your tractors and bring them out to Lakeview for the 3rd Annual Memorial Day Antique Tractor Parade and Show hosted by the VFW Lakeview #3701 .

Register using the QR code or the day of the event (check-in/registration at the Lakeview Middle School 8:30 – 10:30 am). Make sure to let us know if you are entering a tractor in memory of a veteran. Swag bags for the first 50 entrants. All entries will enter the drawing for some awesome door prizes!

The countdown is on! In 5 weeks, we will gather in Lakeview to remember and honor the men and women of our armed forces with Memorial Day ceremonies and events hosted by the VFW Lakeview #3701. We also want to acknowledge the heritage of the farming communities in and around the Lakeview area that support our service members and the VFW with the 3rd Annual Tractor Parade and Show immediately following the Lakeview Cemetery service. All antique tractors are welcome – use the QR code to sponsor the event or register your tractor. You can also register the day of the event. Reminder to our members. This Tuesday we will vote on officers. We would love to see a huge turn out for this special evening. Any member can run for any position. Great way to support veterans and the community.

Our next Auxiliary meeting is Tuesday, April 7th. We’ll begin with our joint meeting with the Post at 6:30 PM and then transition into our Auxiliary meeting shortly after.

April is an important month for us, as we nominate and vote for all officer positions. We currently have 113 paid members from which there are 11 officer positions available. Several of our dedicated members, who have faithfully served for many years, are ready to step down—creating a great opportunity for new and fresh faces to get involved.

VFW Auxiliary Post 3701 is very active and plays a vital role in supporting both our veterans and the community. Getting involved is a meaningful way to make a difference while connecting with others.

We’d love to see more of our members at our monthly meetings! We usually enjoy a couple of pizzas during the joint meeting—good times and great people.

Come out and see what we’re all about!

Thank you to everyone who joined us last night for the Hough-Pontius Post 3701 Honor Banquet. It was truly a special evening dedicated to celebrating the heart and soul of our community. To see so many people gathered together to support our veterans, public servants, and local volunteers was an absolute honor.
