He is a vivacious, active, and very special 8- year old boy, full of s***k and energy. On Wednesday, April 10th doctors found a tumor above his kidney in his adrenal glands. He was diagnosed with neuroblastoma and his cancer had spread to his bones. Our family has made a pact to be strong in our faith and optimism. On January 10, 2014, 9 months after his initial diagnosis of Stage 4 Neuroblastoma, Parker Shaw was declared NED, No Evidence of Disease!!! Hallelujah!!! Parker's strength, faith, and courage inspired us to form a non-profit organization benefiting other children and families battling the same disease and other forms of childhood cancer. Parker & his family still have a long road ahead, but in their journey, want to raise awareness for this disease and give back to others experiencing the same hardships. From this day going forward, all proceeds raised through Team Parker for Life will go to helping other children in their fight against cancer.
