What an incredible weekend of celebrating 83 years of ministry at Flathead Lutheran Bible Camp: Our Board of Directors met, the delegates from churches around the state gathered for training, good food was had, fellowship was filled with joy and laughter, worship was Spirit-filled. And good news was shared at the Annual Meeting...the Board voted to move forward with our Volunteer Housing near the courts using funds raised through the Waves of Grace Capital Campaign.

We thanked four Board Members for their dedicated service (Bing Crosby, Pr. Scott Thompson, Mike Wallewein, and Natalie Falton) and welcomed four new Board Members who will begin in January (Ross Johnson, Pr. Seth Nelson, Annie Olson, Pr. Dawn Busch).

Live wishlist items were presented and everyone STEPPED UP to meet the need (there are still a few items available, so check out the online version at www.flbc.net/donate-volunteer). Thank you, thank you, thank you for the dedication shown to this ministry and the sharing of the gospel!

PS: The weather did not cooperate for Wonder, Wander, Worship but we will offer it again in the future!

Meet Serena Koch- Flathead Lutheran Bible Camp’s new Retreat Director! Serena started working with us about a month ago and has already refreshed our space with new ideas and organization. She is a natural welcoming spirit who will thrive as host to our many retreat attendees.

Serena is a Montana native who loves all things summer & outdoors. If she’s not hiking in the mountains or swimming in a lake, you might find her reading a book, making kombucha or spending time with her friends or church family. Serena is passionate about community and hospitality and is very excited to integrate these elements into her job as the retreat and event director at FLBC.

Welcome, Serena! We are so glad to have you as part of our team.

Friday Dawn: Proverbs 4:18, tells us “The path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, which shines brighter and brighter until full day.” Lord as this weekend begins full of activity, we ask that Your light would shine forth from this place, that the FLBC Board, delegates, and visitors encounter you through the people they meet and the beautiful creation surrounding us. May you guide them here in safety and lead their decisions. **Annual Meeting**
If you are also attending the Flathead Lutheran Bible Camp Annual Meeting, it will begin at 1:00pm in the Cockrell Center. While everyone is welcome to attend and observe, only voting representatives elected by their congregations are eligible to vote.

It’s that time of year to do our part to keep Highway 93 clean! Can you give us a helping hand on Friday, Oct 9 from 9-12noon? FLBC staff will have all the trash pickup/highway safety items assembled (bring your fav work gloves)and we will go out in teams to pick up trash along our section of Highway 93 and then return to camp for lunch. With 6-8 volunteers, we will get the task done quickly and efficiently!
🚗 Due to heavy traffic on this road, we ask that volunteers be 18+ (16+ only with an accompanying adult)
