Another beautiful day on Flathead Lake with Sailing FYI! ⛵️

These outings are about much more than sailing. They give families and individuals a chance to step away from life’s challenges, enjoy time together, build meaningful connections, and experience encouragement and joy.

We are incredibly grateful for every volunteer, donor, and supporter who helps make these experiences possible. Thank you for believing in this mission and helping us bring hope, connection, and adventure to families in our community.

A huge thank-you to AJ Cummings for generously donating an 1987 Sea Ray to Sailing FYI! This boat will help us shuttle families safely and comfortably to and from our sailboat, making it possible for more people to experience time together on Flathead Lake.

We also want to thank Brandon Woodward, Tristan Hall, Baylee Hall,and Coby Berkey for spending all day with us last Saturday helping set up the sailboat and get it into the water. We truly could not have done it without him.

We have already taken two families out this season, and we are looking forward to serving at least 10 more families this year!

Thank you to everyone who continues to support Sailing FYI and helps us create meaningful, joyful experiences for families in our community.

🌊 Sailing FYI – Help Us Launch More Families Onto the Water ⛵

Sailing FYI is currently seeking a decent, reliable motorboat — preferably through a partial donation or significantly discounted sale — to help us shuttle families from Somers Park to our sailboat moored offshore.

Right now, transportation is our biggest barrier.
This motorboat would allow us to: • Safely transport families to and from the sailboat

• Make sailing accessible for kids and parents who have never been on the water
• Host structured family and youth sailing days
• Create unforgettable moments on Flathead Lake

If you or someone you know has a motorboat that could serve this mission, we would love to talk.

This isn’t about us — it’s about getting families out on the water together.

As we step into a new season, we’re raising the sails and looking ahead with gratitude and excitement. Sailing FYI is gearing up for another year of learning, adventure, and meaningful time on the water.

This year, you’ll find us moored between the islands in Somers, creating space for connection, growth, and unforgettable experiences. We’re thankful for the journey so far and excited for what’s ahead.
