Attention all team leaders. Good morning Lake County. American Cancer Society will be rolling over the fundraising year from 2020 to 2021 on Wednesday. After this roll over each team captain will need to go in and re-register for the 2021 year. Once all teams have re-registered I will be able to go in and adjust the amounts to put in what we have raised for 2020 Relay For Life.

The recording of the zoom meeting tonight has been posted if you were unable to make it.

We are going to be continuing to raise money for this event and have a two year event. All monies raised for the 2020 event will count towards next years event.

The new date for the event will be May 1, 2021.

We need to get some committee positions filled so if you are interested in contributing to a great cause please reach out to us.

Good evening everyone. Hope you are staying safe. We just wanted to let all teams and participants that we will not be having our monthly meeting for April. As of right now the Comedy Show Fundraiser has been tentatively rescheduled for June 13th and the Relay For Life Event for June 28th. These dates are tentative on the COVID-19 situation. We will continue to monitor the situation and keep you all updated.

Based on current guidance from the CDC and out of an abundance of caution, the American Cancer Society has suspended all Relay For Life events through mid-May. Lake County Relay For Life is looking to reschedule our Event so stay tuned for more information.

We will also be postponing our Comedy For A Cure event. With this being a major fundraiser for our event we will be looking to reschedule it. If you have bought tickets for this event we will be in contact with you once we know our new dates.

We are extremely grateful to all the volunteers, participants, and sponsors who have worked to make our Relay For Life event a success. Your efforts will make an impact on those fighting cancer, and we’re looking forward to continuing the conversation with our volunteers virtually on new and creative ways to support Relay For Life.

We urge our teams to continue to raise funds for your team through Facebook or any online events.
