At 9 years old and 62 pounds, Patches should be enjoying her golden years in the comfort of a loving home—not searching for a new one.

This sweet, low-energy girl loves everyone she meets, gets along great with other dogs, enjoys car rides, walks beautifully on a leash, and is completely house-trained. Most of all, she just wants to be near her people.

After losing the home she knew for nine years, Patches deserves a family who will love her for the rest of her days. Senior dogs have a special way of loving with their whole hearts, and Patches is no exception.

Meet Hollywood 🐾

Hollywood is a 4-year-old, 21- pound male Norfolk Terrier mix with the sweetest little heart—and a past that makes his happy progress even more special.

He was found hanging around a local gas station for about two weeks before we were finally able to safely bring him in with a humane trap. He had clearly been on his own for a while, and it took some time (and patience) for him to learn that people can be kind again.

In foster care, Hollywood has started to truly bloom. With the help of his doggy foster brothers and sisters, he’s discovered that life can be fun, safe, and full of play. Watching him gain confidence has been incredibly rewarding—he just needs another friendly dog around to keep showing him the ropes.

Hollywood is house trained, dog friendly, neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. Because he’s still building trust in the world, he will need a physically fenced yard and a home with another playful, confident pup.

He’s the kind of dog who doesn’t just “move in”—he slowly steals your heart once he realizes he’s safe. 💛

WHAT AN AWESOME WEEK THIS HAS BEEN FOR US HERE AT THE RESCUE. 9 ADOPTIONS AND 13 SWEET BABIES WENT NORTH. ALSO 2 NEW SH*TZU BABIES 5 YEARS OLD HAVE ARRIVED,AND WE THINK FEMALE IS PREGNANT.
