🍁 LAKELAND, WE NEED YOUR HELP! 🍁
❤️💚💛 Yesterday we served 152 people! 🥰
🚨 We are completely OUT of men’s pants and shorts.
For the past TWO WEEKS, we’ve only had a few pairs available to hand out, and the need continues to grow.
If you have gently used men’s clothing sitting in your closet that you no longer need, this is a great time to pass it along to someone who can truly use it. ❤️
📍 We have donation drop-off locations on the North side, South side, and near Combee.
💌 Message us and we will give you the drop-off location closest to you! We are also happy to answer any questions about donating or The Cosmo Project.
👕 OTHER ITEMS WE CURRENTLY ACCEPT:
• Women’s clothing
• Bras
• Socks
• Bags, suitcases & backpacks
• Grocery bags & reusable tote bags
• Shoes (please no heels)
• Towels & linens
• Pillows & sleeping bags
• Tents
• Non-perishable snacks
• Hygiene products
• Combs, brushes & hair ties — we are currently out!
• Pet food (cat & dog)
• BELTS — we ALWAYS need belts!
👧 Children’s clothing: We currently have 4 children who regularly come to our share. The sizes we need are:
• Boy: 18 months–2T
• Girl: 9 months–18 months
• Girl: 5/6
• Girl: 8/9
🚫 PLEASE NOTE:
We cannot accept open hygiene products or pre-owned underwear.
📦 If you are dropping off donations: Please leave them close to the door of the drop-off location so they stay protected from the rain. ❣️
💛 OTHER WAYS YOU CAN HELP:
🛒 We have an Amazon Wish List available through our page.
💰 Monetary donations are also accepted.
🧡 And we are always happy to welcome new volunteers!
Our Lakeland community has always shown up for The Cosmo Project and for our unhoused neighbors, and we are incredibly grateful for every donation, share, volunteer, and helping hand.
Even one bag of clothes can make a difference to someone who needs it.
Thank you, Lakeland, for continuing to show up. ❤️💚💛
