I have a video I was going to share today regarding Autism Employment that a good friend, Kris Loretz (thank you) asked me to create and it was shared throughout his company & network. ..however I am feeling deflated today.

You see, I went out cold calling with an agency that helps people with disabilities gain employment and we came across one of the meanest people I have ever encountered in my life. My coach explained I am special needs, however graduated college as an engineer and can do the work. Instead of kindly saying he has no work..he turned and said, "I am selling my company to retire....however even If I wasn't...I would never help someone like you"

Now I know this Is his Issue..but It surely was another gut punch and reminder how far we have not come when It comes to Autism Employment.

This was not the message I planned for today....we can do better....can't we?

Companies that embrace neurodiverse hiring don’t just “do good.”

They outperform.

Autistic employees often excel in STEM, analysis, quality control, and creative problem‑solving.
Inclusion drives results.

Attention to detail. Reliability. Passion for quality. Unique perspectives.

These are just a few of the strengths autistic professionals bring to the table. When companies hire inclusively, they gain teammates who elevate the work and inspire new ways of thinking.

You’re not lowering the bar by including autistic candidates.
You’re widening the lens—and finding real talent.

If you're interested in supporting us...please reach out to me. You can make all the difference in someone's life!

🚀 Exciting News from Florida Polytechnic University!

We’re kicking off a new initiative: Neurodiversity + Venture — a bold first step toward empowering neurodiverse students by connecting them with companies for skills-building, mentorship, and career opportunities.
Our goal is simple but powerful: create a support ecosystem where neurodiverse talent is recognized, nurtured, and launched into meaningful work.

🔍 We're starting by reaching out to Alumni and anyone passionate about:

Neurodiversity inclusion in the workplace mentoring the next generation of innovators, creating pathways to jobs through real-world skill development

If you’re an alum, employer, advocate, or mentor ready to support this mission — we’d love to hear from you. This is just the beginning, and your involvement can help shape something truly impactful.

PLEASE SHOW SUPPORT BU SHARING MY PAGE WHEREVER YOU CAN!! Thank you!!!

Super Excited To Be Back On Campus Today..Together with the support of Florida Polytechnic University - Seth Spencer and I are building the foundation of a Florida Polytechnic "Venture" initiative:

Assisting NeuroDiverse Graduates gain skills & connections towards meaningful employment opportunities within the degree of their studies.

This is a huge undertaking but absolutely necessary. 85% of neurodivergent graduates with a Bachelor's degree never gain employment in their areas of study.

I am up for all that it takes to make my dream of finding better ways to connect neurodivergent applicants with employers a reality for all of my neurodiverse peers!

Change is coming!

Today was a very exciting day! I met with Mr Seth Spencer Director of Development Polytechnic University and had a great meeting and together we are going to work on a "Ventures" "- for NeuroDiverse alumni, who are struggling to gain employment. This is one of many programs that Fla Polytechnic is going to roll out this upcoming year.

Last week, I resubmitted my original proposal from my freshman year stressing the need to support neurodivergent students in ways yo prepare us in order to gain skills in interviewing, as well as other ways and ultimately securing jobs in the The field of our degrees .

To say I'm excited would be an understatement! This is the first step of great things starting to happen for the Neurodiverse Florida Polytechnic Alumni!

Thank you Mr. Spencer & Florida Polytechnic for the support. Stay tuned!
