We are a Non-profit organization that serves individuals with disabilities to fully engage in activities that will build a rich and expansive range of opportunities that will improve quality of life and create memories that last a lifetime. Our initial mission was to provide quality services and supports to people with developmental disabilities such as severe autism, spina bifida, cerebral palsy,
Prader-Willi syndrome, Down syndrome and Phelan-MeDermid syndrome. Our services have been expanding ever since. In 2013, we became the non-profit, 501(c)3 organization now known as Education & Empowerment, Inc. We serve 162 people with disabilities daily at our day training programs and 68 people with disabilities residentially. Along with our services, Our Mission has expanded to educate and empower people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to fully engage and experience all of the wonders and opportunities the world has to offer. In order to build a rich, expansive repertoire of shared memories that will last a life time. Our single most important guiding principle is to recognize, acknowledge and support the potential, needs and desires of each individual person we serve. And we try to have a little bit of fun every day.
